Xaptec measuring bar
Multi-camera modules
Xaptec multi-camera modules consist of a large number of miniature cameras. Arranged in a line, they represent an alternative to line scan cameras, but with significant unique selling points:
- Small installation space
- Large depth of field
- High sampling rate
- Long availability
- Any measurement range
Sensor bar
A sensor bar consists of several multi-camera modules that are installed in a robust aluminum or V2A profile and calibrated at the factory.
The number of modules used is defined by the application or the measuring range.
- Measuring bar length:
- 400 - 4800 mm
- Up to 400 megapixels
- per meter
- Data output: GigE, Modbus, or UDP-UA
- Self-supporting aluminum or V2A profile
Web inspection
Measuring bars form the basis for the construction of Xaptec inspection systems. Extended by an identical light bar that houses semiconductor lasers or LED light sources, system solutions for continuous production and transport processes are created.
- Web width and position measurement
- Strip measurement
- Completeness check
- Surface inspection
- 3D geometry inspection
- Temperature cross-profile measurement
- and much more
Xaptec sensor bars are designed for industrial environments. The robust AL profile is equipped with groove profiles, making it easy to mount on plant components or existing units.
Cantilever bridge constructions or C-brackets are also possible.
The installation of a measuring bar often takes only a few minutes. Plant downtime is only required for a short period. Installation is carried out using a support column next to the belt or next to the track. The detailed mechanical dimensions are described in the Al-Profile data sheet.
The length of the sensor bars and light bars is customized for the required measuring range. Costs are calculated per running meter.
