Multidimensional measurement
With the XE camera controller, miniature cameras can be arranged in almost any configuration around a measurement object. Pixel-synchronous evaluation of the cameras allows geometric measurement to be applied even to very fast-moving measurement objects by evaluating the geometric data from different viewing angles. Profile measurement is one of many examples.
Multi-camera technology
Industrial cameras are often suitable sensors for contactless geometric measurement of the position or shape of a moving object. The respective sensors must be read out in strict synchronization. The XE camera controller from Xaptec is designed precisely for these tasks. Together with Xaptec miniature cameras, complex measurement tasks can be carried out even in very small installation spaces.
Miniature cameras
Xaptec miniature cameras feature a high line scan rate of up to 35 kHz. The cylindrical design of the cameras allows for versatile mounting with standard pipe adapters.
