3D measurement technology

Shape and color
The 3D dimensional stability of length, width, and thickness are crucial for the trouble-free operation of a packaging machine. Color is also of great importance.
Temperature profile
The temperature profile at the end of the baking line provides important information about current process parameters.

Detection
Xaptec measuring bars detect a wide range of defects within a production process:
Geometric deviations:

Visual defects:
- Color deviation
- Surface structure
Measuring bars are encased in V2A hollow profiles and thus meet all requirements of the food industry.
Recording
In addition to geometric image evaluations, Xaptec measuring bars can also determine temperature profiles and transmit them to a control station or database.
Ejection
Even at very high transport speeds, defects are immediately and without delay forwarded or ejections initiated.
Documentation
For complete documentation, images of defects are recorded and archived together with other process data.
